Brief description:
One year process that aims to develop a better understanding about the effectiveness of outcome mapping in development projects that deal with complex social systems. An important means to achieve this is through the development of a sustainable platform where development practitioners, researchers and policymakers can discuss, exchange information and seek cooperation. The process also includes a detailed survey of latest literature, policy and practice related to innovative monitoring and evaluation (M&E) methods and an international workshop. Based on practical lessons learned, this process can generate policy recommendations for government ministries and development actors on planning, monitoring and evaluation in development projects that deal with complex systems.
