Organisation
The DPRN is a network of researchers, policymakers and development practitioners concerned with the quality of the development debate and the gap that often exists between science, policy and development practice. The DPRN is hosted by the Netherlands Research School for Resource Studies for Development (CERES), but is not an official part thereof. The CERES secretariat and directorate act as facilitators and service providers to DPRN so that the DPRN can organise its activities. The coordination of the regional expert meetings is administratively part of the Amsterdam Institute for Metropolitan and International Development Studies (AMIDSt) of the University of Amsterdam, which is a member of the CERES Research School.
