Expertise inventories

Thanks to additional financial support from the Education and Research Department (DCO) of the Directorate General for International Cooperation (DGIS) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, it was made possible to draw up inventories for the 13 regions for which the DPRN has organised regional expert meetings annually since 2005 and to update the MDG expertise inventory of 2005. The hope is that these expertise inventories support the aim of the DPRN meetings, which is to stimulate dialogue and to search for common ground between the various sectors. We hope that these inventories help identify "who's who" and "who's doing what".

These inventories are a first step in identifying development experts in the Netherlands and Flanders with a policy, practice or scientific background. This is an ongoing process and the idea is to have annual updates.

If you wish to be included in the updated version of one or more of the inventories to be published by the end of 2007, please add your profile on the Global-Connections.nl website at http://www.global-connections.nl/register-expert
