Brief description:
One-year process aimed at providing an evidence base for influencing global, regional, and national policy processes on rural land. The ultimate aim is to enable secure and equitable access to land for the vulnerable poor who face increased commercial demand for their land. The process includes the setting up of online interest groups, the review of the relevant literature and key policy documents, the preparation of papers and presentations, the organisation of a one-day workshop, and the facilitation of post-workshop discussions. The process is designed to lay the basis for a pilot initiative that promotes community-private-sector partnerships in at least one developing country.
