Call for proposals 2009

DPRN currently has a three-year budget of € 918,000 to be spent on processes which are aimed at ongoing communication, debate and cooperation between developmentexperts from different sectors in the Netherlands and Flanders. The processes are to effectively result in policy reviews, increased cooperation and synergy, for instance in the form of policy-relevant research proposals and other follow-up actions. DPRN intends to host six processes a year, one of which will be instigated by the DPRN Task Force. This call is for proposals to organise one of the other five processes in 2009, for which a maximum budget of € 50,000 is available per one-year process. This call is open to all organisations that belong to the DPRN target groups in the Netherlands and Flanders, i.e. research organisations, policy departments, development (branch) organisations, NGOs and businesses operating under a Corporate Social Responsibility banner. The proposals may relate to two-year processes involving two or more meetings, or to a process to be realised in 2009 with one unique event. In order to ensure flexibility and topicality, DPRN will reserve a maximum of 60 percent of the available resources for single event / one-year processes. The deadline for applications is 1 December 2008, 9 a.m. The submission deadline for the last round is 1 November 2009.
